About The Artist: Robyn Blodgett

Robyn Blodgett

Robyn discovered a way to begin “turning intangible thoughts and emotions into tangible pieces of art” through intuitive art that would work as a personal therapy session that gives her a space to express, process and understand her emotions and reactions to circumstances. With Robyn’s work deeply rooted in her sense of self, she has been able to take the lessons and conclusions revealed by her finished pieces and apply them into her personal growth and daily life experiences. From her discovery of creative personal development she gained the courage to put not only her work, but herself, out into the world by showcasing her pieces at art shows and markets (Hardy & Nance’s The Abstract Art Show and Vox Local Art Mixer), creating a mural at KIPP Prime College Prep and speaking to the public about her journey through mental health and the arts with Vox Storytellers IV.

Robyn’s desire is for people to see a piece of their souls, emotions and vulnerabilities in her work. She hopes to impact the lives of those who see her art to a level that allows them to feel they are not alone in their emotions and that through the emotional highs and lows they are able to come out victorious by living in their truth, authenticity and personal power.
